The Highlight of Our Trip.
We just got off the Carnival Miracle today. I booked the Cave Tubing excursion weeks before we sailed after reading some of the testimonials on this site as well as on Cruise Critics. I am so glad that I did!
We were late for our excursion on April 1, but our guide Ivar had waited for us to arrive. He, his father, and cousin took our group of THREE on a wonderful tour of Belize and the river. Ivar talked to us about the history of Belize on the ride out to the jungle and answered any questions we had. He was friendly and knowledgeable. My 73-year-old mother was along and Ivar and his cousin took wonderful care of her....even taking her tube so that she would not have to carry it. Hands were available to help her up and down stairs and other areas that were steep or slippery. The water level was low and Ivar walked along and pulled her when necessary. This was the highlight of our trip! Even with the water low, the experience was one I will never forget! Thank you Coral Breeze for having such a wonderful employee as Ivar!
