Much more personal, smaller groups, and a lot cheaper.

Our tour of the Mayan Ruins was great. We had no problems finding our tour guide after we got off the ship. Our quide, Junior, was very good and knew a lot about the Mayan culture. We had our grandsons, 11 yrs old with us, and he was very patient with them. He stayed with us the whole time, and we were not rushed at all. We had a small group of 12 -- 6 in our group and 6 in the other group. We saw some of the ship tour groups and they were very large.

We climbed to the top of the ruins and Junior came along with us and explained everything. The boys asked many questions and he knew the answers to all of them. He gave us a leaf to smell along the way, smelled a lot like garlic. It was used for medicinal purposes in the Mayan culture. I would not hesitate to recommend Coral Breeze to anyone taking this tour, instead of booking with the cruise ship. Much more personal, smaller groups, and a lot cheaper, also very reliable.
