We had an absolute BLAST on the "Captain Your Own River Boat" tour in Belize. Just wish I could upload our pictures to this site...they are some of the best from our vacation. Our guides, James, Tony, and Kareem, were so friendly, patient, and extremely knowledgeable of the country. We learned so much. And believe me, these guys made sure we saw up close and personal the iguanas, howler monkeys, crocs, blue herons, and much, much more. We even got to taste some of the local food, beer, and cashew wine while on the tour. This was a relaxing and very adventurous day...all rolled into one! It's left a lasting impression on us...we can't wait to visit Belize again (and take another boat tour).
