Thanks again for an unforgettable trip.

We had an amazing day thanks to Tim and his crew from Hammerhead Water Sports. We had the boat exclusively for our party of eight. They were waiting for us when we tendered in off the Carnival Glory and quickly boated us out to beautiful Bannister Island, where six of us were dropped off and two went diving. After about an hour our snorkel guides came back to pick us up for our snorkel tour. Unfortunately, a huge thunderstorm had come up and four of the party decided to stay on the beach and enjoy the bar. Myself and the other mom, my friend, Monica, decided to brave the storm and go out to the reef to snorkel. I have never snorkeled in the rain before and was a bit concerned about visibility, but it turned out to be great. In fact it was one of the most fun snorkeling trips I have ever enjoyed. Monica and I didn't want to get out of the water when our time had come to an end. We headed back to Bannister Island and had some catching up to do with the folks who had been enjoying "boat drinks". Wow, is that Belizean rum great. The divers returned in time to relax a bit prior to the 8 of us being jetted back to Belize City to board our tender back to the Glory. I am planning a return trip to Belize next year and definitely want to dive with Hammerhead. I would also like to extend a thank you to your stateside contact, Mark, he was extremely helpful and made booking a breeze (pun intended). Thanks again for an unforgettable trip.
