I didn't realize how fantastic everything was until later when we had something to compare it to.
This tour was the highlight of our vacation. The guides were informative without making us feel like we were on a school field trip. This was our first stop on our first cruise so I didn't realize how fantastic everything was until later when we had something to compare it to. The snorkeling was much better than in Cozumel or the Cayman Islands -- more fish, more variety (barracuda, eels, crabs, lobsters, jellyfish), more colorful coral, and nicer guides and equipment. There were a lot more stingrays here than at Stingray City in the Caymans. Caye Caulker was beautiful! It was nice being out with a smaller more intimate group -- only about a dozen of us. I wish this had been a later stop on our cruise so we would have appreciated it more while we where there. We definitely will book our next cruise based on a stop in Belize, but only if Hammerhead Water Sports will be available to take us out snorkeling again!
