I would rate Ivar and this trip a 10!!!
This was the best part of our entire cruise!! Our guide, Ivar,was wonderful (and funny). He was incredibly knowledgeable about Belize, the plants and their medicinal purposes and Mayan culture. He showed the kids leaf cutter ants and talked about how the Mayans used them for stitching wounds. He was also wonderful in the river/caves. We were a group of 12 ranging in age from 8 to 70 and he kept a close eye on everyone... we all survived the rapids!! I would rate Ivar and this trip a 10!!! Best part of the cruise.
