The trip in the caves was awe-inspiring.
My husband and I had the wonderful experience of the Cave Tubing Adventure with Coral Breeze Tours in January of 2007. Our guides, Ivar and Star, were prompt and very courteous. As promised, both were knowledgeable and informative regarding the culture, history and area around Belize City. The drive to and from the caves was interesting and full of interesting facts. The hike to the caves was beautiful and very lush with tropical plants and vegetation. Upon arriving at the river site, Star was very concerned about our safety and was stern with instructions and what would and would not be tolerated as far as that safety goes.
The trip in the caves was awe-inspiring, and being in a small group made it all the more personal. The trip home was highlighted with a lunch with very much local "flavor" of classic rice, beans and chicken. Most of us could not resist the temptation of trying out the only beer in Belize - Beliken - very tasty! Coral Breeze Tours was all it promised on the web site and more!
