In a Tarzan Movie
We just returned from our cruise and I want everyone to know what an incredible experience we had with Coral Breeze. Ivar was our guide. He definitely loves his job. He made us feel more like family rather than tourists. He knows everything about Belize and was eager to share it with us. He showed us so many incredible things from the time we got into the van; the 'sleeping giant' land formation on the drive out, he pointed out the different 'villages' and explained who lived where and how they got there. He showed us bats, army ants, leaf carriers, and tons of neat stories regarding all the vegetation. I think his favorite part of the day was when he was able to get my daughter and her friend, both 14, to be the first 'girls' to eat a 'mint' termite. They loved it.
I highly recommend the cave tubing experience. It's the coolest excursion I've ever been on - I just couldn't get over the fact that we did it. Ivar is a true asset to the Coral Breeze family. And the lunch they provided was better than the cruise ship food by far, and in an awesome environment. I felt like I was in a Tarzan movie.
