Caye Caulker is Belize's most welcoming island for the independent traveler and a long-time favorite for visitors seeking tropical beauty in a relaxing setting. Originally a fishing village known for its bounty of spiny lobsters, the island has seen tourism gradually emerge as the primary industry. Although Caye Caulker now boasts a full range of restaurants, shops, and tourist activities, the temperament of the island remains friendly and easy-going.

Maybe Caye Caulker's outlook has something to do with the idyllic weather, cooled by a steady sea breeze. Or maybe it's the island's well-preserved serenity. To this day, there are no paved streets, no parking lots, and virtually no cars. You'll be able to walk barefoot just about any place you'd like to visit.

Our Tropical Island Escape allows you to maximize your time on Caye Caulker to fully enjoy this island paradise. Your tour begins at the Belize Tourism Village, the site at which all cruise ship tenders drop off their passengers. A few steps from your tender, you will meet our team and prepare to board one of our snorkel boats for the scenic ride to Caye Caulker.

The timetable below represents the tour activities from start to finish. Our daily departures are scheduled to fit within the port time of all ships arriving in Belize.

Start Tour	Meet Tour Leader
40 Minutes	Scenic boat ride to Caye Caulker.
190 Minutes	Explore and enjoy Caye Caulker.
45 Minutes	Return trip to the Tourism Village.

In addition, we will email you a message containing meeting instructions and other suggestions as your tour date approaches.

Length of Tour: 4 hours, 45 minutes

The tour length is an estimate. We adjust the length of our tours to fit the cruise ship itineraries of our guests.

Location of Tour Departure:
Your tour departs from just outside the Tourism Village in Belize City (the dock area where the cruise ship tender boats drop off their passengers). As you disembark from your tender boat, go to Terminal 4 (aka the Pirate Terminal) and pass through the iron gates. Just outside the gates, you will see a sign for Coral Breeze Adventure Tours (our local operations partner) and will be met by your guide. Please ask for Ivar, Star, or Javier if you cannot find your guide.

Our tours are scheduled to fit within the port time of the cruise ships arriving in Belize City. We monitor the cruise ship tender schedules and plan our tour itineraries to give you plenty of time to return back to your ship.

Level of Physical Exertion:
Exploring Caye Caulker requires some walking. Golf carts are also available for rental.

Refunds and Balance Payments:
Your deposit is fully refundable if you cancel your reservation at least 3 days before your tour. In addition, you will receive a full refund if your cruise ship does not stop in Belize for any reason, or if weather conditions or other factors force us to cancel your reservation. Balance payments in Belize must be paid in cash with U.S. dollars. If you wish to pay your balance in advance by credit card, a surcharge of 4 percent of the payment amount will be charged to your credit card.
